Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams endorses David Porter

David Porter, Republican candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner, is proud to announce the support of current Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams.

"David knows first-hand the challenges that producers face from overregulation and taxes. And he knows that now more than ever, we need to encourage exploration here in Texas among Texas producers, large and small, so they can keep Texas energy strong.

'I am proud to support David Porter and will work to help him win this race and join me on the Texas Railroad Commission," concluded Commissioner Williams.

David Porter is the only candidate in this race with real, hands-on oil and gas experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has spent nearly his entire career working with oil and gas producers providing accounting, financial and tax council. He is an oil and gas producer and royalty owner himself, giving him one of the broadest energy backgrounds for a Railroad Commission candidate in many years.
