An exciting news day for my campaign: the Texas Association of Business (TAB) as well as the C Club of Houston have endorsed my candidacy for Texas Railroad Commissioner. For more than 85 years, TAB has been on the front lines of the legislative, regulatory, and judicial battlefields, fighting for every issue that impacts business to ensure that employer opinions are being heard. Their goal is to make the Texas business climate the best in the world. I am flattered to have the endorsement of such a reputable group. The Texas Association of Business has committed itself to making sure Texas leads the way in promoting business. I share that philosophy about the Texas energy sector and will bring that mindset to the Railroad Commission. The C Club of Houston's mission is the promotion of candidates with high moral principles and a clear vision of the future. Founded in 1964, the C Club PAC is composed of 100 fiscally conservative Houston business and professional members. I am very honored to have earned C Club’s endorsement. This group of Houstonians represents some of the top business and professional leaders in Texas. For 45 years, they have tirelessly promoted the conservative, free market values that have made Texas great. Being a small businessman myself, I know what it takes to run a successful business. Texas is the best place in the country to start a business because Texans know how to promote the free market. I plan to bring that same philosophy to the Railroad Commission. I thank these fine business groups for their support and look forward to working with them as, together, we give Texas energy a strong, conservative voice. |
